Life Longevity via New Technology May 25, 2009

With current and new technology the aging process will begin to slow down. When cells wear out, cloned and cultured stem cells can be used to replace them, or if cells are diseased or “unwanted” they can be eliminated through a variety of evolving techniques. Some scientist hope to extend life 50 years or more by the year 2100, and expect eventually an average life expectancy of 1,000 and perhaps even 5,000 years. Your generation may be the last generation to die!

  5. Will the rich and poor equally share in the possibility of living much longer lives? Why? Answer with 30 words or more!
  6. Identify, research and explain new technologies that will allow people to live longer. List five technologies with a 30 additional word description of each technology.

My technology ‘career’ essay is about the U.S.A Special Forces. It is my dream, to serve my nation and become an all time combat soldier. I’ve lost family members in, and out of the war. I am here to train, to fight, and to serve my country! Marines, here i come!
